What a dryer vent inspection actually finds in Cardiff homes

Towels take two cycles. Sometimes three. The laundry room feels humid at the end. That is airflow loss, and it shows up worst from May through September when the marine layer sits on us. Damp lint does not stay fluffy. It cements to the duct wall like felt.

An inspection starts behind the dryer. Postwar ranches here often have short runs through an exterior wall, with 4-inch flexible foil kinked flat where the dryer got pushed back.
